Wildwood

Yesterday evening Wayne and I caught up with Nikki and Michéle as we celebrated my 52nd birthday and our 2nd year wedding anniversary.  Wayne had some t-shirts printed as it was cotton for year two. I wanted to go to the Wildwood in Cheam as on our last visit there was so much on the menu I wanted to try.  Our server Zak was a handsome twenty one year old hottie that even the staff there fancied.  Michéle, Nikki and myself wasted no time in opening up a bottle of Malbec whilst revising the menu, which had a few revisions to keep it fresh and upbeat. 

The food has always been wonderful and we all enjoyed a starter and main course. Zak and the other restaurant guests started singing happy birthday to me as he brought out a birthday cake adorned with lit candles.  I let my guests enjoy the cake as I ordered two desserts from the menu, of which I did share them. 

Another wonderful meal out at Wildwood and now a year older and a little closer to wedding anniversary number three.  

I can’t quite believe how quickly the time has passed, it’s also been twenty three years today that I’ve been in the company of my soulmate and now husband.
