My physical health has been somewhat disturbed today as this morning I had a wisdom tooth removed. The actual procedure from start to finish went extremely smoothly with only the need for two separate doses of anaesthetic prior to the actual operation. Most would perceive that an extraction as just that, the pulling of a tooth when in actual fact after a little education lesson from my dentist it’s only a very small part in the process.
What's most important right now is that I rest up and allow for the area to fully heal and follow a strict hygiene routine to aid in the healing process for the next fortnight. something that involves warm salt water rinses, soft food and initially for the first few days eating on the other side of my mouth. I know that I’m probably going to have to take some kind of pain medication for the next day or so as I’ve been told that there may be some extensive bruising and soreness around the affected area.
Overall, I've been just feeling tired and a little lucid from all what’s gone on today but that’s to be expected with such trauma. I’m going to rest up as advised and just play the week out with no real expectations.
