In the last few years my bedroom has gone through a number of changes, from having a single bed to a two adult size beanbag and then adding a two seater sofa. My sleeping went from a bed to the most comfortable beanbag ever that made me question “did I actually need a bed”. As a result of sleeping more times on my beanbag than my bed I made the decision to get rid of the bed and solely use my beanbag for both sleeping and lounging. This resulted in the beanbag needing to be refilled at least once a year and because I spent most of my time in the beanbag I became sluggish to the point of almost lazy. I then decided to get a small sofa for my room so as to only use the beanbag for going to sleep on and the rest of the time to be spent on the sofa. A few years on and being much older the effort it takes to get in and out of my beanbag is proving to be a lot harder than in my younger days and so my room now gets a facelift.
As always I gave both items away, the beanbag my daughter has and the sofa is going to a friend of a friend so to make room for my new double sofa bed.
It is comfy during the day with ample amount of storage in its hidden chaise-longue and more than enough room to sprawl out and ideal for when me and my husband wanna watch a film together. It is so simple to pull out and make into a double bed and the beauty of it all is that the mattress stores away in its own case that makes for a long sofa cushion when not in use. Perfect and practical all round.
