Things I have learned I/we can no longer do
|
---
Go to the toilet by myself.
Look at my mobile on the sofa for more than 5 minutes.
Leave the front door open while I’m putting the rubbish out.
Blow raspberries in the air without being attacked.
Be vigilant not to drop anything or it’ll be eaten.
Have a coffee table.
Never be without a poo bag in my pocket.
Have clean rear car windows.
Have a traditional and convenient toilet roll holder.
Kick off socks and pick them up later.
Get dressed without somebody thinking it’s for a walk.
|
Things I/we now have to do
|
---
Put my trainers, sliders, slippers on by holding them, one at a time.
Be prepared to be greeted like I’ve been away for a week, even if I’ve only returned from putting the rubbish out.
Answer how Hector is when someone asks, never about me.
Allow the time of a walk to ‘take as long as it takes’ because of compliment stops.
