Hector hadn’t been feeling very well this morning and was sick twice, immediately we were worried particularly since he had not eaten any of his food and very little water, not like Hector at all.
Wayne called Stacey and she booked us into the vets for emergency treatment. We all suspect that he had eaten something that didn’t agree with him, possibly a horse chestnut in the park a day or so ago, so he was given an antiemetic injection and we have some tablets to put in his food for the next two days.
The injection worked very quickly with signs of improvement almost instantly, the sickness stopped immediately and Hector started to perk up so on the way hame he had a breath of fresh air and a stop off at Wandsworth Park.
We met a lovely lady called Kim who had two dogs, a grumpy spaniel called Mollie and a gorgeous 19 month old German Shepherd called Trixie. Well, she took to Hector as he did to her.
