No Lead

Another major day in the life of our puppy boy. Today, whilst walking round the park, we saw a lady who we’d met once before. Her name is Leslie and she has two dogs, Edith and Trixie. She talked us round and gave us the confidence to let Hector off his lead. She convinced us that as we are his pack leader, that as we walked away from her, that he would follow. It was the ultimate test so far… and it worked. We walked about 50 feet away from where she was standing with her two dogs, who Hector had been playing with, and suddenly without being called, he came running towards us. It was a highly emotional moment.
