Bath Time

This evening, Wayne and I prepared a shower for Hector, but we were pleasantly surprised by how well it went. Despite a few attempts to get out of the bath and what felt like him being afraid, Hector knew that with both of us loving, holding, and massaging him, he would be okay. We used a puppy shampoo by Bugalugs with a ‘baby fresh’ scent, which is an identical smell to baby powder. He smells even more stunning than before.

We have been told that washing your dog regularly is not needed for a few reasons, the first being that unless a dog is not dirty or has been rolling around in fox shit, then the coat cleans itself. Secondly, for a dog not to smell like a dog, it may be rejected by other dogs in the park because they cannot identify him.
