Falcon To Glove

I have always been fascinated by these graceful creatures, the seamless movement of these birds with wondrous personalities yet still with a constant watch on all of its surroundings, ever alert.

Amanda bought me a falconry experience at 'Hawk On The Wild Side' so that I could fulfil a much desired dream.  Wayne, my darling husband accompanied me and we both got to experience these magnificent creatures.

The weather was just right for todays treat, just the right amount of sunshine and yet cool enough to enjoy the day.  Wayne made a packed lunch and we headed off Strood Green, Betchworth, near Dorking.

We got to get up close and personal, with hands on flying to glove Bamu the 'African Spotted Eagle Owl', Inty the 'Vulture' and Bryn the 'Buzzard'.

It was an exhilarating experience to be able to handle these magnificent birds close up, they each had a personality of their own, which made for a truly unique day.
