I have always loved that rugged look that the Apple Watch Ultra gives off; it's hard-wearing, it tells you it's built to last, and it is a beast of a watch, when you are wearing this, you are going to stand out. It is a statement piece.
Setting up the watch was a breeze as usual and the only problem that I stumbled across was getting the e-sim activated on the new watch since I already had an e-sim on another watch which proved to be a little more complex to sort out, (Brian from Vodafone tech support in India you saved the day).
This is by far one of the best watches I have owned, with a battery life that is out of this world; I can get several days of use out of it and even wear it to bed with just minimal charging while either in the shower or getting ready for bed each day.
So that we could get the watches as soon after launch did mean that we had to get a watch strap that probably wasn’t my first choice, but in hindsight, it has been the most rugged, comfortable strap that barely feels like I’m wearing it.
Am I loving it after all the drama of setting it up and probably not getting the strap I wanted? Hell yes!
