Wayne and I meet up with a whole gaggle of Nikki’s friends to surprise her for yet another celebration of her 60th birthday. The Restaurant was Galu, a Mediterranean restaurant in Banstead.
The food was impeccable, so good that it justified the £50 per person charge for a set menu.
Wayne had the chicken skewers for starters, braised lamb for main and the panna cotta for dessert. I had scallops for the starter, sirloin steak with fries and peppercorn sauce for the main and tiramisu for dessert.
