In retail you go from one holiday event to another and once the not so popular Halloween is over then Christmas tends to kick in a gear in most retail settings.
I have had to work most days in the run up to Christmas and slowly watching the general public get ruder and ruder as they allow Christmas to arrive on their doorstep and leave everything to the last minute is a common occurrence. Not letting anyone get my spirits down I have been up beat and enjoying the run up, I have kept with the Christmas sprit and painted my nails to fit with the festivity’s and this year I went one stage further and dressed up as a Gingerbread man.
I got lots of positive feedback and photo ops and only a handful of humbugs that attempted to drain he party mood, it didn’t work.
