So in an attempt to stop a fox and the furry rat, (a neighbours cat) from fouling our garden we got a new cat scare gadget but this one needed plumbing in.
It really is to scare the pests and let them know if they come in the garden they are going to get wet and hopefully enough to deter them from coming back, well that’s the claim on the box.
To say we both got wet in trying to get the spray and trajectory right was an understatement, since we installed three of these deterrents the method was to make sure that they overlapped each other so if one gadget got them wet also the other one next to it would trigger and by adding a third made sure that every entry and escape route was covered, there was no way that anything that got in was going to get out dry, including Wayne and I as wet set them up.
It is going to be a few days of trail and error with mapping out the right location, trajectory, water pressure and maybe cutting back a hedge or two to make sure we get it spot on, a bit like when we installed the Ring cameras.
